The case is getting more complicated…
The story begins with Katrielle establishing the Layton Detective Agency on Chancer Lane, with which she wants to prove her abilities on the one hand, and on the other hand hopes that by spreading the news of the agency, she will be able to obtain information about the whereabouts of her missing father. While cycling around London and solving more complicated cases one after the other, Katrielle gets involved in a mysterious mission, during which she unwittingly discovers a conspiracy of millionaires...

Detective work
Fortunately, Katrielle is not completely alone during her adventures - a young student from Gressenheller University, Ernest Greeves, joins her as her assistant, and the team soon expands to three members when Sherl, the talking dog, Katrielle's first client, joins her and becomes her loyal partner.

Collect clues as you solve seemingly intractable problems and find logic in seemingly illogical situations. The more puzzles you solve, the closer you get to solving the cases - but you can always go back to an old case and see if you missed any extra information!

Thanks to the Nintendo Switch console, you can share the experience with others when playing on the TV screen or on the go. Use either the buttons or the motion detection as you explore your environment, talk to the characters, and stumble upon puzzles or hidden Help Coins that can help you out if you're really stuck. Other special coins that are hidden in the locations can give you all kinds of outfits, so Katrielle can solve cases in the coolest outfits. Each outfit you acquire also adds its own special puzzle, and the Nintendo Switch version also includes over 50 new outfits in addition to all the DLC outfits from the original game!
