The Lékué Makisu silicone sushi rolling mat is a practical alternative to traditional bamboo mats. Made from platinum silicone, its completely non-porous surface absorbs neither odours nor moisture, so it will not mould or crack.
The specially textured non-stick surface keeps sushi rice from sticking, so no cling film is needed. Its flexibility makes it easy to shape tight, even rolls, and it is also well suited for sponge cake or meat rolls.
The material is heat resistant from -60 °C to +220 °C, can be safely cleaned in the dishwasher and stored in the freezer. Measuring 24 x 21 cm and only 0.3 cm thick, it is space-saving and lightweight.
