The most we can do for our child is not to let him lose his learning abilities! If we let him discover the world by himself in a fun, playful way, and if necessary, we show him learning tools and methods that are adapted to the way our mind works, rather than trying to force his mind to apply meaningless rules. If we have done this, we have completed our task. The use of effective methods, i.e. learning, is the child's job!
I am convinced that our brains are exactly the same in childhood as they are in adulthood. In terms of its structure and operating principle, it does not - or not very much - change, the main change in it is none other than the way we use it. When I give training sessions to children, I often tell them that the brains of Albert Einstein or Albert Szentgyörgyi had the same structure as any of us, the only difference was the way they used them.
I am also convinced that we are born with a basic instinct for effective learning, then as we adopt - sometimes impose - methods, beliefs, stereotypes, the way we use our brain changes, and sometimes we believe that my brain no longer works as it used to be a reality ! - although the truth is that I don't use it like I used to.
