It is a fair question, why do we need to use effective note-taking techniques? We think you know this yourself, so we'll just give you one reason. At school, you are bombarded with an incredible amount of information day after day, hour after hour, of which you only remember a fraction by the end of the day, so you need some way to organize it. And if you can also record it effectively in your memory, you are already living a successful student life.

You don't need to develop any new skills for this, just use the existing ones! The great abilities of the left brain hemisphere are essential for learning our basic skills (e.g. speaking, writing, reading, counting), but they do not characterize our own personality, and they lack everything that makes life humorous, colorful, and enjoyable. All of these reside in the right hemisphere of our brain.
By connecting the right and left hemispheres of the brain, motivating factors such as experience, fantasy, and humor can enter the learning process. We understand the material with the left brain hemisphere, and with the help of the right brain hemisphere, we develop our own creativity and add contexts to it.
