    This LANBERG fiber optic pigtail is a 2-metre cable with an LC/UPC connector on one end, designed for connecting fibre distribution points to active equipment. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50/125 micron core, making it suitable for structured cabling, data centre and telecommunications installations.

    The manufacturer specifies an insertion loss of just 0.25 dB and a return loss above 50 dB, supporting reliable signal transmission. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket limits smoke and halogen emissions, an advantage in enclosed, high-traffic spaces. The 0.9 mm easy-strip design makes stripping and termination straightforward.

    The turquoise cable operates reliably between -40 °C and +85 °C and has a minimum bend radius of 7.5 mm. Weighing 30 g, it is a light and compact patch solution for fibre networks.
