LAICA Alkawater water filter cartridge BI-Flux 2 pcs K2MEC01

The LAICA BI-Flux Alkawater is a replacement water filter cartridge for LAICA BI-Flux filter jugs. It is also compatible with BRITA Maxtra and Philips water filter jugs. The pack contains two cartridges, each suitable for filtering about 150 litres of water and usable for up to one month.

The layered filtration system combines activated carbon with an ion-exchange resin. The activated carbon reduces chlorine and organic contaminants, while the resin lowers the presence of heavy metals such as lead, copper and iron. Calcium and magnesium are retained, and the mineral content rises by roughly 60 to 80 mg per litre.

The cartridge can raise the pH of tap water by up to 1.5 units, producing alkaline filtered water with a pH of around 9. Made in Italy and tested by independent laboratories, the product is approved by the Hungarian National Public Health Center.
