KOSMOS Fun Science brain tricks experiment kit 654252

The Fun Science Brain Tricks experiment kit from KOSMOS takes children aged eight and up into the world of optical illusions and brain teasers. With it, they can see for themselves how human perception can be fooled, and learn the scientific explanations behind the illusions.

The set includes a Sphericon, punch-out sheets and mirrors, among them an archway, a tilted room, a multifunction pair of glasses and spinning-top attachments. It also contains paper sheets with illusion pictures, distorted images and colouring templates, a spinning top, a 3D colour foil, a spectral foil, a hole foil, a wooden paint set and a detailed instruction booklet.

While experimenting, children not only have fun but also understand why their eyes trust things that do not really exist. The guide walks them step by step through the experiments and provides scientific explanations along the way.
