    Product description

    The KNIPEX StepCut XL cable cutter is a professional tool for precise, low-effort cutting of copper and aluminium cables. At 225 mm long and weighing 324 g, it is easy to handle and cuts finely stranded copper cable up to 12 mm in diameter. The blade is made of 56 HRC tool steel with a blackened finish for lasting sharpness.

    The screwed power-transmission joint provides high leverage and light, smooth action, and it can be adjusted to keep cutting accuracy over time. The slim head allows work in tight spaces, while the integrated pinch guard prevents fingers from getting caught.

    The multi-component grip in red and blue has an ergonomic shape that stays comfortable during longer jobs. The tool is not suitable for cutting steel wire, steel-reinforced cables or wire rope.
