The Keychron V6 Max is a full-size mechanical keyboard built for both gaming and office work. It is fitted with Gateron Jupiter Red switches and is hot-swap compatible, so the switches can be replaced without soldering. This version has a German (DE) layout and a black and blue-grey finish. OSA-profile double-shot PBT keycaps provide a consistent surface, and south-facing RGB LED backlighting illuminates the keys.

The keyboard connects in three ways: via USB-C cable, Bluetooth 5.1, or wirelessly over 2.4 GHz, allowing up to three devices to be paired. The built-in 4000 mAh lithium-polymer battery offers up to 225 hours of runtime with the backlight switched off.

QMK and VIA software support allows the key mapping to be customised, and the keyboard also features a programmable rotary knob and stabilised keys with three tilt angles (3.5°, 7.0° and 9.5°). A switch makes it easy to move between Windows, macOS and Linux.
