The Keychron Q6 HE 8K is a full-size mechanical gaming keyboard built around Ultra-Fast Lime magnetic switches and an 8K polling rate, designed for fast and precise input. The magnetic switches are made from POM and deliver a stable, responsive typing feel with very quick actuation. The actuation point can be set for each key between 0.1 and 3.35 mm, in steps of 0.01 mm. Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS) let a single key trigger up to four different actions depending on how far it is pressed, while LKP and Snap Click features support fast gaming.

A double-gasket design with silicone pads reduces acoustic resonance, and the per-key RGB backlighting can be fully customised. Hot-swap support and the web-based Keychron Launcher app make programming straightforward. The keyboard is compatible with both Windows and macOS, and two keymap layouts can be saved.
