The Kensington High Clarity privacy screen filter is designed for 14-inch notebooks with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It limits the viewing angle to the sides, keeping confidential content out of sight of people nearby, whether on a train, in an office or in a café. Its nanolouver technology is said to transmit up to 40% more light than conventional privacy filters, so colours look more vivid and text appears sharper.

The viewing angle is restricted to approximately ±30 degrees. An anti-reflective coating reduces glare on the screen, and the surface is scratch-resistant and, according to the manufacturer, wipeable to military standards. The manufacturer also states that the filter reduces blue light by up to 28%, which may help ease eye strain.

Installation is possible with frameless mounting tabs or double-sided adhesive tape. The filter is compatible with LCD and LED displays and is not recommended for OLED screens.
