How can our child become an adult who, instead of nodding at everything, successfully controls his thoughts, decisions, essentially his entire life? The volume gives a clear answer to the question: with the help of critical thinking.

One of the biggest shortcomings of school education is that children do not master the basic operations of thinking (such as questioning, comparison, analysis, proof, conclusion), and thus learning will not be nearly as effective as it should be. and as it could be!

Don't let anyone be misled by the term critical thinking: it's not about merely criticizing things - i.e. criticizing them - but about their interpretation, analysis, evaluation and how we ultimately decide about them. Because everything depends on it.

Of course, it was not for nothing that Henry Ford said: "Thinking is the hardest possible work, which is probably why so few practice it."
But we can safely add to this: at the same time, it is also the greatest adventure!

The Thinking School is primarily aimed at parents and teachers of 10-12 year old children, and with the help of great practical examples and fun tasks, it promotes that students - or even playful adults - get to know and learn to use the basic tools of thinking, and the transparent, meaningful , become curious people.
