The Kärcher RCV 5 Comfort robot vacuum cleaner combines artificial intelligence and a dual-laser camera system for safe cleaning, avoiding obstacles such as cables or shoes. Rotating brushes, side brushes and a powerful fan ensure the efficient collection of dry dirt, the ultrasonic carpet sensor automatically activates the strong suction power for carpets. It is also suitable for wet mopping, in which case it automatically avoids carpets. Creates a room plan with LiDAR-based environmental sensing, which can be customized in the application. The device can be started with an application, according to a preset schedule or by pressing a button, and it notifies with a sound signal in case of problems. When the task is finished or as needed, it automatically returns to the charging and self-emptying station.

Wet mopping

For even better cleaning results, the RCV 5 is also capable of wet mopping. If necessary, use the mop unit with microfiber cloth, fill the fresh water tank and you are ready to go. You can use the RCV 5 cleaning robot for dry cleaning only, wet mopping only, or both together in combined cleaning mode.

Precise navigation using artificial intelligence

With fast and efficient LiDAR navigation, the robot precisely scans and maps the premises, ensuring the best orientation for reliable cleaning routes even in the dark. The robot's dual laser sensor and camera even enable detection of objects too small or flat for the LiDAR system (e.g. shoes, socks or cables). If the dual laser-camera system detects obstacles, they are incorporated into the map. The robot uses an intelligent navigation maneuver to avoid them, avoiding getting stuck or being damaged.

RCV 5 uses an ultrasonic sensor to automatically recognize carpeted surfaces and display them on the map in the application.
If mopping is activated, the robot will skip detected carpeted surfaces and go around them.
The Auto Boost function increases suction power on carpeted surfaces as needed for even better cleaning results.
