The Joy-IT Armor Case Block is a CNC-machined aluminium alloy enclosure designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5 board. Its sturdy aluminium construction protects the board against impacts and heat, while the case takes up almost the same space as the Pi on its own.
The case features large cooling fins that dissipate heat efficiently. According to the manufacturer, it keeps the temperature at around 39 °C when idle and around 75 °C under full load. The package includes four mounting screws and a thermal conductive pad.
Dimensions are 56 mm wide, 15.5 mm high and 69 mm deep, and the case weighs 107 grams. The rear connector of the board is not accessible in this design. The case is compatible only with the Raspberry Pi 5.
