While the aim of our first volume, published in the framework of the research project "Responsiveness of the legal system - Law and epidemiology", was to subject the legal restrictions necessary for the development of an effective vaccine or medicine to scientific analysis, by the time the second volume was closed, it had already become obvious that no suitable vaccine was available , the willingness to vaccinate is very low in many countries, and the number of cases is increasing, so it is questionable whether the restrictions on freedom that require legal regulation can be eliminated in the long term, and whether the change will prove to be permanent. This volume also includes studies reflecting on recent changes in public law, which are complemented here by detailed analyzes of private law.

Together with the third volume in preparation, the series provides an overview of the legal reactions related to the COVID-19 epidemic, covering both theoretical and practical issues and reflecting scientific interest.
