Angelika Nagy did not make a very deep furrow in Hungarian film history. She achieved her greatest success with a documentary about a jazz club operating in a dilapidated building in Budapest, but that can also be considered more the merit of her husband, who was a well-known documentary film director. He actually started shooting the film but died before finishing it. At that time, the district council still operated in that building. He filmed the bands performing, life in the corridors, underground passageways and cellars. He recorded Budapest's secret life on film, because it was under the council that jazz was raging during the nights. Young men in trapeze pants trotted down the stairs, holding porcelain-faced girls with one arm. IVANKA MOGILSZKA (1981) graduated as a director in Sofia, several novels, short stories and poetry books were published in Bulgarian. Unexpected Streets is his second novel.
