The Inter-Tech SFF-8654 is an internal data cable designed for high-speed data transfer, supporting both PCIe 4.0 and SAS 3 / SATA protocols. A single SFF-8654 8i (SlimSAS) connector splits into two SFF-8654 4i connectors, making it a practical solution for linking NVMe SSDs and RAID controllers.
The cable supports a maximum data transfer rate of 24 Gb/s, allowing modern storage devices to deliver their full performance. Its 30 AWG conductors provide good signal quality and a reliable connection, even under heavy load.
At 0.7 metres long, the cable offers flexible routing inside a computer case. Its black finish helps keep cable management neat and tidy within the system.
