The Inter-Tech SFF-8643 to SFF-8087 internal data cable, 75 cm long, connects storage components in servers and workstations. One end has an SFF-8643 (MiniSAS-HD) connector and the other end an SFF-8087 (MiniSAS) connector, so current and older SAS/SATA controllers can be used together with compatible drives.
The cable supports the Serial ATA III standard, with data transfer rates of up to 6.0 Gbit/s. It has two breakouts, allowing several drives to be connected at the same time.
The 75 cm length provides enough flexibility for installation in most desktop and server-sized cases. The sleeved design keeps cable routing tidy and helps airflow inside the chassis.
