The Inter-Tech SFF-8643 (MiniSAS HD) is an internal data cable that splits one MiniSAS HD connector (SFF-8643) at one end into four SATA connectors at the other. It is designed for servers and workstations where several drives need to be connected to a single controller port.
At 0.7 metres in length, the cable offers enough flexibility to route neatly in a variety of chassis layouts. The black and blue colouring makes it easy to tell apart from other internal cables in the system.
Intended for internal use, the cable is compatible with standard SFF-8643 controller cards and SATA drives, providing reliable data transfer between the controller and storage devices.
