The Intel Core i9-12900K is a 12th-generation (Alder Lake) desktop processor with an LGA-1700 socket. It combines 8 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores for a total of 24 threads, with a base clock of 3.2 GHz and a turbo clock of up to 5.2 GHz. Its cache comprises 14 MB of L2 and 30 MB of L3, allowing fast access to frequently used data.

The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 supports DirectX 12 and can drive up to four displays, including HDMI at a maximum of 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz and DisplayPort at a maximum of 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz. Memory support extends to DDR4-3200 or DDR5-4800, with capacities up to 128 GB. The processor also supports the Intel SSE4.1, SSE4.2 and AVX2 instruction sets.
