The Intel Core i7-12700K is a 12th-generation Alder Lake processor for the LGA-1700 socket. It combines eight performance cores and four efficiency cores, giving 20 threads in total, with a base clock of 3.6 GHz that can boost up to 5 GHz when demand requires it. This makes it well suited to demanding tasks such as multitasking, video editing and gaming.

The BX8071512700K is the boxed version, supplied without a CPU cooler.
