This product is the first mobile rack enclosure that allows easy addition and removal of 4 M.2 NVMe SSDs directly on a PCIe adapter card. The MB204MP-1B is ideal for environments where high-density M.2 NVMe SSD installations are required in limited space, ensuring fast maintenance, upgrades and drive replacement. The newly designed removable M.2 SSD tray of the MB204MP-1B offers a compact and space-saving solution. Its quick-release button is ergonomically designed for easy handling. Users can quickly open the side panel of the computer case and slide the quick release button to the left to remove the M.2 SSD tray with minimal effort. This entire process takes less than a minute, which is a significant convenience improvement over traditional M.2 adapter cards that require removing the adapter card from the motherboard and unscrewing the M.2 SSD.
The MB204MP-1B is equipped with removable drive trays that allow for tool-free drive removal and installation. Simply release the quick-release button to release the drive tray and access M.2 NVMe SSDs without the need for tools or screws. All M.2 sockets are compatible with different M.2 drive lengths from 30mm to 80mm (2230 / 2242 / 2260 / 2280).

The MB204MP-1B features an advanced cooling mechanism to maintain the optimal operating temperature of M.2 NVMe SSDs. Each removable drive tray has an aluminum heatsink cover that effectively dissipates the heat generated by the SSDs. The included thermal pads ensure efficient heat transfer from the SSDs to the aluminum heatsink, maximizing cooling efficiency. Additionally, the airflow design directs air through the system, quickly expelling hot air and providing a cool environment for the SSDs. The unit is equipped with a 50mm fan to further enhance cooling. For systems that require adequate cooling or environments that require minimal noise, the MB204MP-1B fan has an on/off switch that allows users to disable the fan as needed.

Additionally, the removable SSD tray design allows SSDs to be replaced without disconnecting the MB204MP-1B from the PCIe slot, making drive maintenance a more efficient and simpler process.
