Product description
The ICY BOX IB-2242U2K is an internal mounting frame that holds up to four 2.5-inch U.2 or SATA/SAS drives in a single standard 5.25-inch bay of a computer case. It makes it straightforward to fit several SSDs into one slot while keeping the build compact.
The sturdy aluminium housing and metal rear panel provide good stability and efficient heat dissipation. Two built-in cooling fans can be adjusted across two speed levels, so high-performance SSDs keep operating reliably under heavy, sustained load.
The individual drive trays can be locked separately, protecting the drives from unauthorised access and physical damage. Status LEDs show the operating state and data activity at a glance.
