The HP CX 6000 is an entry-level Layer 2 access switch with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000Base-T) and four SFP slots for 1-Gigabit uplinks or expansion. It suits small offices, growing businesses and medium-sized companies that need a reliable wired network connection. The fanless, compact design runs quietly and can be mounted in a rack.
The switch supports static routing, access control lists (ACL), quality of service (QoS), sFlow and IPv6. It runs the Aruba CX operating system, which can be managed through Aruba Central, a web interface, the command-line interface (CLI) or the REST API, making it ready for software-defined networking. Power consumption is rated at 22.4 W.
