The HP Docking Unit Cable Lock is much easier to use and offers increased security than previous locks. The HP Docking Cable Lock offers two locking options: locking the docking unit only (which also prevents access to the special docking unit's drive bay) or locking the docking unit and the notebook together.
Physically locking the notebook and docking station requires only 3 steps.
The drive compartment of the HP 120 W or 230 W special docking unit can be locked.
It can also be inserted into an HP docking unit or an HP special docking unit thanks to the unique locking cavity that provides increased security.
