HOYA HD MKII UV 62mm

The HOYA HD Mk II UV is equipped with a special chemically strengthened optical glass that is four times stronger than normal glass, providing excellent protection.

The sharp UV cut feature blocks out UV light while not negatively affecting colors in the visible light spectrum, so you'll never have unwanted color changes in your image. Since UV light can cause blurring and a blue cast under certain conditions, the filter reduces these negative effects, ultimately making the final image sharper and clearer.

HD HIGH PERMEABILITY COATING
The 16-layer non-reflective, high-transmittance multi-layer coating on both sides of the filter glass greatly reduces the chance of reflections caused by the filter. Since the coating is water- and oil-repellent and stain-resistant, cleaning the filter is easy and stress-free.

HD LOW PROFILE FRAME
The glass of the HOYA HD Mk II UV filter is attached to the frame using a special high-pressure pressing technology, which provides additional stability, which contributes to the robustness of the filter. The frame itself is ultra-thin, which immeasurably reduces the chance of vignetting - so the filter is absolutely compatible with wide-angle lenses.

The HOYA HD Mk II UV filter is especially recommended for advanced and professional photographers who need extremely robust, high-quality and long-lasting protection for their expensive lenses during everyday photography.
