The MS 5145Eclipse barcode scanner is a single-line handheld laser scanner. Thanks to Honeywell's (Metrologic) patented CodeGate solution, it can be used extremely widely. The CodeGate function ensures continuous targeting, but at the same time, the scanned code is only sent by the scanner after the operator presses the confirmation button. This feature is particularly beneficial for menu, commercial, document reading and inventory applications. Thanks to Metrologic's state-of-the-art laser reading technology, the Eclipse barcode scanner has a longer reading range and a wider reading field than typical CCD readers. The Eclipse barcode scanner switches to pulsing mode when not in use, allowing precise targeting for the operator. As soon as the paste is directed at the barcode, thanks to the CodeSense mode, the Eclipse barcode reader switches to scan mode and activates the CodeGate switch, thus ensuring high-speed scanning and accuracy at the same time. The cable of the Eclipse can be easily replaced, even by the user. The scanner has easy-to-use data editing functions. Setup is facilitated by user-friendly MetroSelect codes.
