The Honeywell 1960G Ratchet is a handheld barcode scanner with a USB connection, supplied in a black general-purpose housing. It is an imager-based device with a LED illumination system and area-capture reading pattern, rated IP52 for protection against dust and water.

The 1280 x 1080 pixel image sensor offers a 42° x 36° field of view and a motion tolerance of 4000 mm/s. It reads reliably even in ambient light of up to 100,000 lux. Thanks to a tilt angle of 65° and a 360° rotation angle, codes can be scanned from many positions, allowing comfortable and flexible use.

The scanner is suited to retail, warehouse management, assembly lines and self-checkout environments. It weighs just 147.2 g and draws a maximum of 2.5 W. It is also built to withstand a drop from 1.8 m onto concrete, making it a practical choice for demanding daily work.
