1. You can also use Home Bridge as a local hub extension for Home Pro to extend wireless coverage.
In this case, you can extend the professional local functions of Homey Pro even further via the Home Bridge, as a bridge or gateway, so you can also control more distant devices with it.

Just place the Homey Bridge in a central, open space in your home, such as the living room, next to the TV. Note that infrared signals do not penetrate walls.

Homey Bridge allows you to connect about 240 Z-Wave devices and 50 Zigbee devices.

There is no upper limit on the amount of Bluetooth Low Energy, infrared and 433 MHz devices. (Please note that connecting more than five devices requires an active Homey Premium subscription).

When used in stand-alone mode (without Homey Pro), Homey Bridge requires an active internet connection. If the home internet is not available, Flows using the Homey Bridge (eg a Zigbee bulb) will not work until the internet is back online. If you need an always-on solution, consider purchasing the Homey Pro.
