The HIKVISION DS-KD-MFB is a fingerprint and card reader expansion module that adds reliable access control to modular video intercom systems. It stores up to 1,000 fingerprints and 6,000 cards and works with 13.56 MHz M1 and DESFire cards.
The unit connects to the intercom's main unit via an RS-485 interface. It integrates well into IP, two-wire IP and two-wire HD modular systems, giving users flexible options for expansion.
Its IP65 rating protects against dust and water, so the module can be used safely both indoors and outdoors. It can be installed flush-mounted or surface-mounted, adapting to different installation requirements.
