The DS-2CD1321-I camera is designed for IP CCTV systems. The ceiling camera is equipped with a 2 MP 1/2.8" CMOS sensor, which provides good video even in low light conditions. With a 30 m range IR light source, the camera can work even in total darkness. The user can choose H264+, H.264 or MJPEG video compression. With H.264+ compression, the data stream is minimized for static scenes without any noticeable loss of image quality. The compression algorithm based on H.264 was optimized by Hikvision for CCTV system applications. Compared to H.264, the data stream can be halved, which is also responsible for the proportional saving of disk space or the extended data retention time. The camera can work with NVRs (E, K, I series) that support H.264/H.264+ video compression.

The camera belongs to a new EasyIP Lite series, characterized by high performance and an affordable price. The series supports motion detection and video tamper detection. The series cameras can also use corridor mode and offer the possibility to define a region of interest (ROI).

Camera users can use the free Hik-Connect service, which provides remote access to the device and NVR with a dynamic IP address, or allows you to use the domain name in a web browser. Ezviz (EasyVision) is a free service to activate Hikvision NVR and IP cameras. SADP (Search Active Device Protocol) is a free and easy-to-use utility to search for Hikvision IP cameras and Hikvision DVR/NVRs in your local network. The network device finder can also be used to modify the network parameters of Hikvision devices, including changing passwords or restoring default passwords.
