This external enclosure, made from aluminium alloy, provides two bays for 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or solid-state drives, making it a sturdy desktop solution for everyday data backup. The black housing connects to your computer via USB 3.0 or USB Type-C.
Four operating modes are supported: RAID 0 increases speed, RAID 1 improves data security, while the SPAN and PM modes allow simple capacity expansion. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface and UASP support deliver transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s.
The built-in SD and microSD card reader speeds up copying of media files. An active cooling fan keeps the drives at an optimal temperature, and together the drives can provide a maximum storage capacity of up to 48 TB.
