Hidasi Judit - Apró bolt a sétányon

"Heart-warming story, completely enthralled" - Anne L. Green

They say you can start your life over anytime... But they don't say it's going to be hard...

Éva comes home from America full of secrets for her 20th graduation meeting in the small town on Balaton. He will fall in love with his memories, his old life, in almost no time. However, it quickly falls to the ground from the pink clouds, because a lot has changed in the city.

It is not enough that his bohemian mother entrusts him with the shop on the beach promenade, but he also has to find a new home for himself. Fortunately, her old girlfriends help her in everything, not so Tamás, the old love, who appears in Éva's life as a divorced man.

After a night of fun and conversation, the old friends found the Prosecco Club, where maximum honesty is a basic requirement. This, in turn, brings to the surface quite a few old grievances not only with Éva, who is looking for her place, but also with Gabi, who has three children, and Nóri, who is still single. And Tamás plays a role in the lives of all of them. Summer is just beginning, and the threads are getting more and more tangled...

In Judit Hidasi's novel, we find our way back to the past, from which the bonds of our lives originate. Together with the heroines of the story, we walk the path that leads to the precious things that we tend to forget.
