    Product description

The Hertz HMS 12 S2-LD-SW is a 30 cm marine subwoofer designed for open mounting on a boat, delivering deep, punchy bass without the need for a precisely sized enclosure. Its 2 ohm impedance is chosen to get efficient power output from your amplifier, with a continuous rating of 500 W RMS and a peak handling of 1000 W.

The sport grille is acoustically transparent, easy to remove, and can be painted to match your vessel. Built-in RGB LED lighting adds ambience; the HM RGB 1 BK controller is not included. The unit carries a Hertz Pure Marine certification with IP65 protection, UV resistance to ASTM-D4329, and salt-spray durability to ASTM-B117.

The 50 mm voice coil driver uses a polypropylene cone with UV-resistant coating, a Santoprene surround, and gold-plated brass terminals with silicone covers for reliable connections over time.
