The Hertz SX 165 NEO SPL is a coaxial car speaker built for powerful, high-SPL sound. Its cone is made from high-strength pressed paper treated for protection against moisture, water and UV exposure, so it holds up well in demanding conditions. The double-layer copper voice coil wound on a polyamide former handles high power levels, while the motor uses N38 H neodymium magnets to deliver good efficiency with a reduced overall weight.
The tweeter features a 1.4-inch PEI dome for high sound pressure, fitted with a protection circuit and a rubber gasket for secure use outdoors. The speaker weighs 940 grams and is designed as an automotive loudspeaker.
