HERTZ S8 DSP Ultra-compact digital audio processor

The Hertz S8 DSP is an ultra-compact digital sound processor designed to integrate any factory (OEM) audio source into car, motorcycle and boat audio upgrades. Its corrosion-free housing is cast from metal and composite materials, and it processes the audio signal at 96 kHz / 24-bit resolution. The unit holds the Japan Audio Society (JAS) Hi-Res certification for its high sound quality.

The 32-bit DSP handles six high-level analogue inputs, one digital SPDIF coaxial input and eight output channels. Every output offers level control, a 15-band parametric equaliser, time delay and crossover settings, while a 7-band parametric equaliser on the input helps smooth out factory sources that often overemphasise bass.

Settings can be adjusted wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 using the CONFIGURATOR app on Apple and Android tablets and smartphones, and software is also available for PC and Apple OS. Four preset configurations cover different listening situations, and all connections sit on one side for simple installation.
