HERTZ MPK 130.3 2-way speaker set

The Hertz MPK 130.3 is a 2-way car speaker set made up of a 130 mm midrange woofer, a 25 mm tweeter and a passive MPCX 2.3 crossover. The woofer uses a V-cone paper cone with cotton fibres and a Boundary Free rubber surround, while the tweeter features a Tetolon dome and a neodymium magnet. The set is rated at 100 W RMS and 200 W peak, with a 4 ohm impedance and a frequency response of 60 Hz to 22.5 kHz.

A two-position switch on the crossover lets you raise the tweeter level by 2 dB, so you can adjust the sound to the mounting position and your own taste. The compact design delivers a powerful, precise bass and a clear, detailed midrange without needing a large subwoofer.

This set suits cars where there is no room for large bass speakers. Its low mounting depth and metal grille make installation flexible.
