The HERTZ HMD 1 is a mono amplifier designed for powering one or more subwoofers in boats and motor vehicles. It accepts both low-level RCA inputs, whose input sensitivity can be adjusted in three steps, and high-level signals from a head unit's speaker output. Thanks to Automatic Remote Turn, no separate remote wire is needed, as the amplifier switches on automatically.
Paired with the HMD8 DSP active sound processor, it allows the correct frequency range to be set. The amplifier is stable at 2 ohms and delivers up to 1,500 W in a very compact housing.
