The Hertz MLK 700.3 Legend is a two-way car speaker set combining the ML 700.3 midrange, the ML 280.3 tweeter and the MLCX 2 TM.3 crossover. It is designed for clear, natural sound in the midrange and high frequencies, and it can be expanded with the ML 1650.3 or ML 1800.3 woofers into a full three-way system.

The midrange uses a neodymium magnet, a 36 mm double-layer copper-clad aluminium voice coil and an exponential V-Cone diaphragm made of pressed cellulose reinforced with cotton fibres. The tweeter features a Tetolon Fiber dome and a high-purity copper voice coil for extended high-frequency reproduction.

The crossover offers a three-position Mid-Notch switch to adjust the midrange response to the installation position, along with tweeter level control in 2 dB steps. Each speaker carries an eID code so buyers can verify that the product is genuine.
