HERTZ MLK 1650.3 2-way speaker kit

The Hertz MLK 1650.3 Legend is a two-way car speaker set designed for natural, true-to-source sound. It combines a balanced tonal character with high dynamics and a wide frequency range. The V-cone® design keeps the diaphragm from deforming, so the voice coil stays in position and sound pressure is maximised, while Boundary Free Surround technology gives the cone a wider radiating surface than speakers of the same diameter, moving more air.

With the MLCX 2 TW.3 crossover, the woofer and tweeter can be driven separately through two amplifiers or two channels, which supports a dual-amplification setup. The Mid-Contour and Hi-Contour controls allow you to adjust the crossover frequency and the frequency response to suit the acoustics of your car, the mounting position of the speakers and your own listening preferences.

The tweeter uses a neodymium magnet, a pure copper voice coil and a Tetolon Fiber dome, and its frame is machined from solid aluminium. The woofer features a 36 mm dual-layer voice coil, an exponential V-cone® and a cellulose cone reinforced with cotton fibres. A die-cast aluminium grille with a Hertz logo is included.
