The Hertz MLCX 2 TW.3 Mille Legend is a passive crossover for car loudspeakers, designed to improve sound quality in systems that do not use a DSP (Digital Sound Processor). The Mid-Contour and Hi-Contour controls let you adjust the crossover frequency to suit your car's acoustics and personal taste, while the tweeter level can be set in 2 dB steps (-2 / 0 / +2 dB).

The crossover has separate low and high inputs, allowing a bi-amplified system with two amplifiers or two separate channels. The Hi-Boost control provides more even output above 10 kHz, even when the tweeter is not aimed directly at the listener.

The 160 V bimetal film capacitors, oxygen-free copper (OFC) air-core coils and high-power wire-wound resistors are intended to keep the sound stable and natural at maximum rated power. The metal housing protects the components from mechanical damage and gives a neat appearance when the unit is mounted in a visible position.
