The Hertz ML 280.3 Mille Legend is a car tweeter designed for detailed, natural high frequencies in an in-car audio system. Its Tetolon Fiber dome has been shaped using Finite Element Analysis to reduce distortion and widen the dispersion angle, while the faceplate profile is optimised for smoother frequency response. A neodymium magnet and a high-purity copper voice coil help the driver respond quickly to transients.

The frame and rear chamber are machined from solid aluminium, which keeps resonances under control. The rear chamber is tuned to a 900 Hz resonance frequency, supporting a clean crossover section with lower cutoff options. The tweeter handles up to 180 W when used with a high-pass filter.
