The HERTZ HMX 6.5-LD-TC is a powerful two-way coaxial speaker with a 6.5-inch cone, designed for marine and powersport applications. Its weather-resistant construction makes it suited to outdoor use where exposure to water, dust and dirt is expected.

The tweeter features an acoustic lens that optimises off-axis dispersion and maximises sensitivity. An RGB LED light sits beneath the tweeter, protected by a clear polypropylene cover that also works as a light diffuser. The metal mesh tweeter guard is finished to match the colour of the speaker grille.

The UV-resistant polypropylene cone with its Santoprene surround, along with the basket and injection-moulded grille, resists water, dust and mud. The voice coil uses silicone insulation and aramid-fibre leads, which the manufacturer says support long-term reliability. A large-excursion motor assembly with a robust magnet group delivers natural, low-distortion sound even at high volume.
