HERTZ HMS 12 B4-LD-C 12" marine subwoofer RGB LED black

The Hertz HMS 12 B4-LD-C is a 12-inch (300 mm) marine subwoofer with a 4 Ω impedance, designed for infinite baffle installations. It can be mounted directly into an open baffle surface without a separate enclosure, which is useful on boats where space is limited. According to the manufacturer, it handles 500 W RMS and 1000 W peak power, delivering deep, punchy bass in systems with suitable amplification.

The UV-inhibited polypropylene cone and corrosion-resistant hardware are built for damp, salty environments. The model carries the Hertz Pure Marine Certified mark with an IP65 rating and references testing to ASTM-D4329 (UV resistance) and ASTM-B117 (salt spray). Its single voice coil with a 4 Ω load keeps amplifier matching straightforward.

The grille features integrated RGB LED lighting, which can be controlled with the optional HM RGB 1 BK accessory. The grille is removable and, according to the manufacturer, can be painted in a custom colour to suit the style of the boat.
