    Product description

    The HERTZ HMS 12 B2-LD-W is a waterproof marine subwoofer with a 30 cm driver, designed to deliver deep, punchy bass even when mounted open, without the need for a sealed enclosure of calculated volume. Its 2 ohm impedance is intended to match a wide range of amplifiers efficiently, with a continuous power handling of 500 W RMS and a peak rating of 1000 W.

    The woofer uses a 50 mm voice coil with a polypropylene cone whose UV-resistant material is injection-molded, and an aramid-fibre surround with silicone-insulated lead wires. The santoprene-moulded frame and polymer-injected basket are built for marine conditions, and the unit is rated IP65.

    Built-in RGB LED lighting is integrated into the grille and can be controlled with the separately sold HM RGB 1 BK controller. The removable, acoustically transparent sport grille can be painted to match the colour of the boat.
