HERTZ HMS 10 S4-LD-G.1 marine subwoofer 10”

The Hertz HMS 10 S4-LD-G.1 is a 10-inch (250 mm) marine subwoofer designed for boats and other damp outdoor environments. According to the manufacturer, it handles 300 W RMS and 600 W peak power at a 4 Ω impedance. It is intended for infinite-baffle mounting, so no separate subwoofer enclosure is needed, and it takes over the low-frequency load from the main speakers. The Sport grille has integrated LEDs and, according to the description, can be removed and painted to match the colour scheme of the boat.

According to the manufacturer, the HMS series has been tested under real marine conditions, including UV exposure, salt fog, vibration, water spray, thermal shock and dust. The UV-stabilised polypropylene cone, the Santoprene surround and the 50 mm voice coil are designed to support consistent performance under heavy use. The IP65 rating means full protection against dust and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

The gold-plated, corrosion-resistant brass terminals with silicone caps are suited to humid marine conditions. Mounting dimensions are 250 mm nominal diameter and 116 mm mounting depth.
