HERTZ HMS 10 B2-LD-W Installable subwoofer with protective grille

The Hertz HMS 10 B2-LD-W is a marine subwoofer designed to reinforce the low-frequency range of an onboard sound system. Its grille-style front panel protects the cone from accidental contact and damage, while the design suits open boat installations. The model code points to the 10 size class.

By taking over the lowest frequencies, the subwoofer relieves smaller speakers, which can give music a cleaner overall sound and a fuller bass foundation, especially in open or noisy surroundings. It is most useful when existing speakers cannot reproduce deep enough bass or lose it at higher volume.

The UV-stabilised polypropylene cone and Santoprene surround are built for outdoor marine use. The unit is rated IP65, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. An RGB LED lighting is built in, controlled with the optional HM RGB 1 BK controller.
