HERTZ HMR 50 premium marine motor powersport digital media player

The HERTZ HMR 50 is a premium marine media player designed for boats and powersport vehicles, combining music, radio and smartphone connectivity in one unit. Its sensitive RDS radio tuner, an AUX input for any line-level source, and Bluetooth with aptX streaming at CD-quality audio cover most listening needs. A USB 2.0 port plays music from flash drives, iPhone and iPad, and the 1 A charging output keeps mobile devices topped up during a trip.

The free Remote Control app lets you operate the unit from your phone when you are away from the head unit. With 4 x 50 W of built-in power, DAB+ preparation and support for additional amplifiers, the system can run up to three independent listening zones, so different areas of the boat can play different sources at the same time. The large 3.5-inch LCD with adjustable button illumination stays readable in bright sunlight and at night.

The IP66 rating and resistance to UV, salt and dust make the HMR 50 suited to demanding conditions on the water. Two optional wired remote controls, the HMC D1 and HMC U1, both rated IPX7, let you control the unit from up to three locations on a larger or multi-level vessel.
