HERTZ CAPRI HBB 4-zone marine digital media receiver DSP 15337

The Hertz CAPRI HBB is a digital media receiver for marine use that plays music in four completely independent listening zones on board. This compact black-box unit processes the audio signal with a 24-bit/96 kHz DSP and covers a frequency range up to 40 kHz, so fine detail and deep bass remain clear even over engine noise and wind.

Each of the four zones has its own stereo line outputs and a dedicated subwoofer output. The helm can play more dynamic music while the cabin enjoys quieter background sound. Every zone can be tuned with HPF and LPF crossover frequencies (ALL, 60, 80, 100 Hz) and an 8-band digital equalizer with eight preset curves.

The housing is rated IP67 and passes the ASTM-D4329 UV resistance and ASTM-B117 salt spray tests, making it suitable for marine conditions. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC, AAC and APTX HD support, two pairs of RCA AUX inputs, USB and S/PDIF optical and coaxial inputs and outputs. Control is possible via remote, smartphone app or NMEA 2000®.
