HAMA Safe X40-B Paper shredder black 50582

The Hama Safe X40-B is a shredder that cuts confidential documents using cross-cut technology, producing paper particles of 4 mm x 33 mm. It can destroy up to four sheets of A4 paper at 80 g/m² at once, and it also handles credit cards and staples. Its security level under DIN 66399 is P-4 / T-4 / E-3, which can support compliance with the requirements of the EU GDPR.

An automatic start/stop function switches the machine on when paper is inserted and off again once shredding is finished. The slide switch offers off, automatic and reverse modes, the latter for clearing paper jams. A safety mechanism prevents accidental start-up if the head is not correctly placed on the bin.

The maximum continuous running time is 2 minutes, after which a 30-minute rest period is required. The 8-litre collection bin has a viewing window. Power consumption is up to 210 W and the noise level is at most 64 dB. Dimensions are 29.5 x 15.5 x 20.7 cm, and the plug is a Euro type (CEE 7/16).
